Anthony Zarriello says...
Paternal grandparents came from Muro, Zarriello and Discianni married in NYC then moved to NJ. Been to Muro twice, it was a great experience.

Anthony,

My grandparents are from Muro and they changed their name from Zarriello to Zarella once they got here. He was Franco Zarriello and she was Roasmaria Carbornara. They came over at the trun of the century. Most of their relatives moved to Australia. Could we be related??

This is my parents home town. I have been to Muro Lucano 6 -7 times and all my relatives are all there. I love Muro Lucano it is like I was born there but instead I was born in Montreal, Canada.

The name Storione is familiar since I remember my father doing mention of it, please contact me and in the meantime I will go and question my dad.

Cav. Giuseppe Ventura:

This has been a great insight as I have visited Muro Lucano but my notes are tucked away somewhere years ago. Now patching my past together so great resource!
